Canada: a destination for historical tourism

The March issue of BBC History magazine contains a five page advertisement feature under the title "Discover Canada."

"With castles, forts and battlefields galore, there's plenty to do in Canada, the world's second-largest country. Start planning your trip today."
Featured are Fort Henry, Fort William, The Plains of Abraham, Alexander Keith's brewery, the Halifax Citadel, L'Anse aux Meadows, Yukon gold panning, Hatley Park Estate, the Glenbow Museum, Batoche.

Apparantly the marketing folks at the Canadian Tourism Commission don't buy that Canada is "not enough history". The website referenced at www.keepexploring.ca continues the traditional emphasis on "too much geography".
